TYPES OF MASSAGE
While there are many different types of massage, these are the types we offer:
Swedish Massage: a classic style of massage known for total body
relaxation, reduced muscle tension, enhanced circulation, relief of
tired muscles, and improved quality of sleep.
Shiatsu: an eastern modality that is practiced on either a floor mat or
table, with the client wearing comfortable, stretchy clothing. The meridians
(energy lines) of the body are effected and range of motion/stretching
exercises are included.
Orthopedic massage: a discipline designed to treat specific
orthopedic conditions such as carpal tunnel, neck, back and shoulder
pain or nerve impingement syndromes. Direct work is done on tendons
and muscles helping to loosen tight areas.
Chair massage: the client is fully clothed and seated in a position that
allows work to be done on the back, shoulders, neck, and arms. This is
a good alternative for those who are unable to lie flat. Also, this is an
excellentbenefit to offer the hard-working employees at your office or
place of buisness for a minimal expense.
Cranial sacral: Cranial sacral therapy, provides a framework with witch
to relieve physical imparements due to physical or emotional trauma.
Such imparements often affect their ability to move freely, which causes
one to hold a muscle, or group of muscles, tight to protect the wounded
area, often long after the initial injury.
